The Cantaloupe Pink MKAL will soon…

…be over and I am so happy that I can finally show you some pictures of my (already fnished)  prototype! I made this shawl using a mercerized cotton yarn, a Greek brand of international fame: El. D. Mouzakis’ “Petalouda” -which is the Greek word for butterfly- has never disappointed me. So, there you are!

Crisp and shiny cotton, as if silk was spun in with it, it is ideal for summer projects. I used one fingering weight skein of 200gr, which gave me 750 m of beauty to work with. Well, today you get to see the top of the shawl (as far as the 3rd clue goes).

I promise I’ll show you the border on a next post and I will also ask the permission of my test knitters to share some photos of their projects! Until then, I hope you all have a great (knitting)  weekend ahead!
